Recently, it has come to light that there are folks selling "lampwork" beads on ebay that are actually mass produced. These beads are being misrepresented. When you see this symbol, you know that this seller is an artist who makes each bead one at a time. This is a labor intensive process and it requires lots of time and effort. Please support artists who are creating lampwork one bead at a time

 Jodi's "Thoughts For the Day"

Hey everyone!

Thanks to all who inquired as to why I have not updated in so long. Well, I have been concentrating on custom work and have not had anything for sale for quite a while. I hope to post some new work in the next 2 weeks.

On the personal side of life, Spencer graduated from high school on May 30 and I had house guests from Costa Rica during that time.  It seemed as if we went from event, to a party, to another event day after day.  It was some of the most tiring time, but also tons of fun.  During this time, Donald and I were also a part of a dinner theater here in our community.  This was the first time I had ever participated in this sort of thing, but I had an absolute ball!  I have been invited back for next year and I will certainly make room for this in my schedule.  It was such fun.  I got to play a sex starved, chain smoking, dare I say......tramp!  I don't smoke, so it was a real interesting character to play!  I really did enjoy myself.

During this time, we also celebrated the 90th anniversary of Cascio's Fruit Market.  We held and all day event complete with cake, a band, and give aways!  What fun that was!

Now do you see why I have been laying low?  I have had a very full plate.  In two weeks, I start bible school so the fun just keeps rolling on.

Keep checking back and keep sending me those custom orders.

Jodi

Here is a very recent picture of Donald and I. It was taken by our local newspaper outside of our market on Main Street.  We were named Best Place for Produce by our community and we were pleased to accept that award!  If you come to Somerset, PA please stop by Cascio's Fruit Market and say hello.

I have had the photo of Donald and I and the boys up long enough for the boys to look out of date. A friend recently snapped this shot and we were pleased to have a reasonably decent shot of Donald and I. I figured since my site was getting a new look it deserved to have a fresh shot of us. The next time I get an updated family shot, I will post it. In the meantime enjoy this photo

Here is a picture of the 5 of us enjoying the pool deck.

Here is a picture of us on the cruise (except Donald he was the photographer!).  We were all dressed up for the captains dinner.  You finally get to see a picture of my mom!  She looked so pretty and we had such a fun trip.

Stu, Spencer, Mom & I - we had a wonderful time! PS - once again Donald took the picture - he had fun too!
